MDS specialist departments at AR 32 Signature Smiles, Kharadi
Nine specialities, one clinic, one plan.
Most dental care is done well by a general dentist (BDS). Some cases need a specialist: a dentist who has completed a further three-year Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in one field. At AR 32 Signature Smiles, Dr Avinash Bamane or Dr Rashmi Bamane sees you first, works out what you need, and brings in the right MDS specialist for your case, by prior appointment, at our Kharadi clinic.

BDS or MDS: who do I need?
A BDS dentist is trained in all of dentistry and handles check-ups, cleaning, fillings and most extractions and root canals. An MDS specialist has three more years in one field, and is the right person for difficult cases: a root canal that has failed, impacted wisdom teeth, advanced gum disease, braces, full-mouth rebuilding, or a mouth ulcer that will not heal.
How a specialist visit works
- Your first visit is a consultation at Kharadi, with an examination and any X-ray that is needed.
- If a specialist is the better choice, we book them for you, by prior appointment.
- Fees for every treatment are published in our online store, and are the same in the clinic.
