MDS Specialist Consultation in Pune
Some cases need a specialist from the start: a difficult wisdom tooth, braces, implants, a failed root canal or advanced gum disease. An MDS specialist consultation puts that expertise on your case before treatment begins.
What it is
AR 32 works with more than fifty MDS specialists across nine departments. They are visiting consultants who see patients at our Kharadi clinic by prior appointment. Usually Dr Avinash Bamane or Dr Rashmi Bamane sees you first and arranges the right specialist; you can also book a specialist consultation directly when you already know what you need.
Who it is for
- Braces, aligners or jaw-growth questions (orthodontist)
- Impacted wisdom teeth or surgery (oral and maxillofacial surgeon)
- Implants, full-mouth rehabilitation, dentures (prosthodontist or periodontist)
- A root canal that failed or a very curved root (endodontist)
- Children who need specialised care (pedodontist)
How it is done
- Your records and X-rays are reviewed before the specialist sees you
- The specialist examines you and explains the findings
- Any extra imaging is advised only if needed; we tell you where it is done and what it costs
- A treatment plan with options and fees, which you can take home
Time: One visit, by prior appointment at Kharadi.
Afterwards
- The plan is added to your patient portal
- Your general dentist and the specialist coordinate the treatment
- You can ask for the specialist's registration number before treatment
What to know before you decide
A specialist consultation answers the question in front of the specialist. If more than one speciality is involved, for example an implant after a surgical extraction, more than one consultation may be needed.
Fee and booking
Our current published fee is ₹1,500 per MDS specialist consultation, by prior appointment at Kharadi. The final cost is confirmed after examination, and you receive a written plan with every option priced before anything is started. A booked consultation is Rs 500, adjusted against your treatment; an MDS specialist consultation is ₹1,500, by prior appointment at our Kharadi clinic, which is open 8 AM to 11 PM, seven days a week. Book online or call 8484 990 678.

Every dentist practising in India must be registered with a State Dental Council. You may ask us for your specialist's registration number before treatment.
