how does ar 32 make sure every dentist works to the same standard

By Dr Avinash Bamane (A-18814) · Last reviewed 23 October 2026 · 469 words

The short answer

We keep one front door, one record and one routine. A founder sees every new patient first, every dentist works from the same clinic file, every surgery follows the same sterilisation cycle, and every plan is written down with its alternatives. What we cannot make identical is personal style, so ask questions whenever something is unclear.

With two founders and more than fifty visiting MDS specialists, this is a fair worry. Patients have usually met clinics where the experience depends entirely on which doctor happens to be in. Here is what we keep the same, and where the limits are.

One front door

Dr Avinash or Dr Rashmi Bamane sees you first. They examine you, explain what they find and decide whether your case needs a specialist, and which one. Difficult cases go to the specialist in that field, not to whoever is free. We do not staff interns.

One record

Every dentist works from the same clinic file, held in our own records system. Your clinical notes, prescriptions, X-rays, lab work (with tooth numbers, shade and expected delivery) and treatment plans sit in one place, and you can see them yourself on the patient portal. That means a specialist starts with what the founder found, and the founder sees what the specialist did.

One sterilisation routine

Instruments go through a B-class autoclave (a hospital-grade steam steriliser), single-use items are used where single-use belongs, and a full sterilisation cycle runs between patients, whichever dentist is treating. Our sterilisation page explains the steps.

One way of planning and charging

  • Appointments are long, about 80 minutes, so history, examination, imaging, the plan, the treatment and the notes are not squeezed.
  • Your plan is written down, with alternatives, and you decide in your own time. A treatment consent is signed before work starts.
  • Fees follow our published list, and discounts follow fixed rules rather than negotiation, so the same treatment does not cost more because a different dentist does it.

What you can check yourself

  • You are welcome to ask how the instruments used on you were sterilised, and any dentist here should be able to tell you.
  • You should be told who is treating you, and in which speciality, before work starts.
  • Your plan, fees and consent should be in writing, and should match what appears later in your portal.
  • After each visit, your notes and any X-rays should show up in your file.

If any of these doesn't happen, tell us. It is far more useful to us than silence.

What we cannot make identical

Specialists are individuals. One endodontist may explain things in more detail than another; one surgeon may prefer a particular technique where two are equally sound. That is normal in any medical team. What should not vary is the safety routine, the honesty of the plan, and your right to understand it before you agree.

If something feels different from what you were told, or you are unsure why a specialist has suggested a change, say so. Ask the founder who saw you first to explain it. You can read more about how we work in our first appointment guide.

This answers a general question. It is not a diagnosis, and it cannot account for what is actually happening in your mouth. If something hurts, get it looked at — by us or by anyone.

Want this looked at properly?

Kharadi runs late. Reception will tell you honestly whether you need an appointment yet.
